Mini WIS vacation coming up!

Well taking my vacation in around 4 weeks. Decided to have part of it as a mini-WIS vacation! Going to go spend 4 days in KL, Malaysia. Going to stay at the Marriot Hotel which is co-located with Star Hill Plaza. One of the areas of the world with the largest number of High End Watch Botiques and watch stores (AP, UN, GO, VC, JLC, Rolex, IWC, Cortina Watch Store, etc.) Spend a few days relaxing, swimming, eating good food and evaluating and checking out all the watches. Then off to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to relax at the Raffles Le Royal Hotel and visit old friends/employees for about 8 days. Flying Qatar Airlines, IMHO one of the best Airlines around. They even have a seperate Terminal for Bussiness/First Class passengers!!

Have a great trip, Chad.

If you see any Glashuette Original GMTs in the flesh, let me know.

Cool! The closest GO AD to Portland is in Seattle. After that, it's San Francisco.

Living in the South Carolina of the west coast sometimes has its disadvantages.

One thing about KL, along with most other Major cities in Asia. due to the large number of Watch Enthusiasts, are the number of Watch Botiques and high end watch brands that have there own show case Botiques. KL, Malaysia (along with Hong Kong and Singapore) a WIS lovers paradise. You could spend over a week, just going through all the stores and Botiques looking and and evaluating mechanical watches.

Chad, have a fantastic time.
I know you've been doing a lot of research on the net about different brands.
Now comes the fun part......trying them all on for real !
