Difference in the Certificate between EU and US
Why do Rolex use different Plaastic certificate for different countries?
In Europe they write No client and then we can see what country the watch is sold in Then the type of watch eg 116509 Serial nr and finally Oyster Perpertual Also the text is in French on the side where there is a lot of text Would it not be more easy to use the same for US I see some pics that on yours they write No of bracelet. Style of Dial For me it seems more genuine with the text in Franch |

My guarantee card is also all in French. Doesn't matter as long as my name is correctly spelt.

As far as I know all US cards have the bracelet and dial type. Don't know why they do this only on US cards but I'm assuming it might have something to do either with the market (US buyers like to see that?) or they're trying to prevent dials from being changed?
Could be anyone's guess (except Rolex) :) |

Rolex USA seem to operate as a different entity, hence the slight differences in guarantees, packaging etc.

A related question, when I purchased my SubC ND, the warranty card and manuals came in a cardboard sleeve, with a slot for the warranty card. Is there a separate leather warranty card holder which was supposed to be included? I purchased this from an AD in the US.

Thanks, i was just wondering, because I keep seeing watches for sale, even new models, with the leather holder, but I guess they were purchased in the EU.

Whenever there's a changeover in the collateral provided to new Rolex owners, ADs often have many of the older items left over so it can be a year or more before the new things are in the box.
