Need opinion Bvlgari watch.

What you guys think about this Bvlgari limited edition by Daniel Roth. Is 18k too much for this watch ?

Thank you.

Heru--Personally not a fan but if you like it and that's what it takes then that is all that matters.

I'm not a fan either. But there is little doubt it will be extremely well made and beautifully finished. I was a fan of Daniel Roth though.

I'll be honest. I have a secret crush on Bulgari Bulgari.

Well it isn't my favorite brand but I've seen surprisingly good looking models!

Bvlgari is moving into some wonderful and innovative complications...
Although I'm not a fan of the particular model you've shown, the DR Grande Sonnerie Quantieme Perpetual is one piece with some unique flair.

Both Daniel Roth and Gerald Genta have made some wonderfull pieces for Bvlgari!

From Toubillion, to minute repeaters, they have tried hard to push into some astute and wonderfully unique designs....

Edit: Just found this model to be a special edition for the 'All Blacks' (New Zealand rugby team)...
It's called the Endurer Chronosprint.
The dial design is a traditional Maori tattoo called a 'Koru'....

The desgin reminds me of an AP RO; and for that kind of money I'd get the AP RO instead.

Never would have picked that Rob, but now that you mention it I see the Maori tattoo design in it.

but I think anything over 500 bucks is too much for a watch

but that watch reminds me of Piaget's model

A huge turn off for me in Bvlgari is the fact that they are too diversified. They make everything from neckties to hotels(?). Fair enough, they started as a jewelry brand but it seems like they are too eager to get your money by selling just about anything.

I personally own a Bvlgari Ergon in 40mm and I have a love/hate relationship with it. It was priced over $5000 back in 2009 and its value depreciated like no other. Only keeping it as it is a sentimental timepiece for me.

In situations like these, I might send email to some powersellers here on TRF and ask them on the resale value or trade in. Any negative comment from them, consider that remark very seriously.
