The ADs may be right. I remember reading of someone who was able to get the Daytona clasp at one time, but I think that came to halt. As I remember price was something on the order of $700USD. Ouch!!

Hi. I wonder is the same true for the new GMT clasp ?? And would it fit. IMO this is the best clasp in the entire range.

Welcome to TRF!
I have never heard of one having to give the old part back to get a new one, and in Europe you can get parts fairly easily unlike in the States. I would phone Rolex Köln (Cologne) about it. The price of a WHOLE SS Daytona bracelet is about US $ 2,000, and the clasp on its own would be about 500 US, I would say. Expensive? YES! But that is how it is like if you want a "pars pro toto" (part of the whole).

Cost me £225 including the rapid adjustment link without any problem/issue, through my AD, guess your mileage may vary as it indeed does here depending which AD and whom you speak with and possible your relationship with said AD

Straight swop can be done by yourself with the SD tool no harder than removing a link
