insane crystal question, here come the daggers
Ok, I know the feeling of Frankenwatching a Rolex, But I'm gonna ask anyway (I'm wearing stabproof Kevlar) Remember, this is THEORETICAL,
Suppose I love the higher- if not domed crystal SO much, that I wanted to put one on my 14060m. Would (in theory) the crystal from an SD fit the 14060m? Is the diameter and part where the crystal fit into the case the same on the SubND and SD? (I have NO idea how the crystal fits into the case/bezel) I'm on the understanding that the sub ND and SD share the same diameter measurements, The idea? Higher sapphire crystal- rising above the bezel as opposed to the minimal crystal-bezel height. Purely asthetics. Hope I still have a membership after posting this |

Unfortunately, the SD crystal would not fit.
The SD crystal is 29,5 MM The Sub OP crystal is 29,2 MM

Well, the measures are taken by a watch maker, so the credit goes to him. But there also exists another measure overview:
where the dimensions are different ("Sub" in the above chart is the Sub DATE, btw.) But you can turn it either way, you won't make an SD crystal fit the Sub OP.
