Your Opinions Pls for a Lady Royal Oak

Hi guys,

May i have your opinions if this piece is good for my wife. She hates winding hence the choice i selected for her is this quartz piece from AP. What do you guys think?

My Wife tried on that watch a few times and really likes it. I like the Lady ROO on her better but she thinks it is too big.

I like it as well. Have you considered an auto AP and getting her a winder as well for when she doesn't wear it?

There quartz movement is almost as nice as an Auto. I would have no problem giving my wife one.

Take a look, they do a nice job

I like it- very classy and beautiful dial ;). And the fact that it is quartz; as long as it is convenient and reliable for her- sounds like it is a good option.

Exactly my wife's favorite. Price wise I think that would be reasonable if it came on SS bracelet. Great choice!!!!

I was looking at one of these for my Fiancée's 30th birthday. I remember reading somewhere that battery changes are not so easy since you have to remove the whole movement/dial or something along those lines. Does anyone know if this is true or have more info? If it is true can any quality watch service center replace the battery or do I have to send it to Clearwater? The pics on the website look like the battery is in an easy enough spot to swap out.

I love the quartz Lady ROO for a woman. Super classy and elegant and a nice size. I don't mind at all that it's quartz. It's still gorgeous and easier for her!

Thanks Dara, in fact she had a basic AP Millenary which she don't wear often enough to keep the power reserve going. Perhaps she doesn't really love it that much and i have winders at home. She just takes her watch off & places it on the table rather than taking a minute to put it back on the winder. Sigh... so i think a quartz piece will suit her better.

My ex wife sure liked hers!

It was a black strapped no diamonds version of that watch (much cheaper! Hint)

Hehe, good one to strip the diamonds to save the wallet. But I just thought get her one with the stones & I can sneak one more incoming since she's in a good mood.
