Is a Pepsi GMT too casual?

I wear a suit to work. It a GMT with a Pepsi insert too casual? Could I wear the watch with all colors?

Thanks for any insight!

I think it is a bit casual. But to be honest, you can pretty much wear any watch with a suit these days. Plus that is the beauty of your watch. You can switch it to the black bezel and it will be perfectly fine with your suit.

Just remember that after labor day ends today, you can't wear your white dial watches.

I totally agree with this idea. This is what i'm looking at for my first Rolex. Then hopefully i can resist the temptation for a little while to get another one because there are a few that i really want.

A GMT is a classic and can be worn with any outfit, in a palace or at the beach, as well as in airports or submarines ( military ).

You can also change the looks easily, creating many variants, that suit every occasion. Let your imagination create many "different" watches.

( I also wear my GMT in all its variants, including the pepsi form with the classic oyster or JB )

The Pepsi looks great in almost any venue - however - a black insert will make your watch look much more business like

I use to feel that way, and over time i have realized how versatile the Pepsi is especially if you have other bezels to change out.

Pepsi is awesome in jeans or suit. I wear mine with a suit and it looks particularly cool and classy with a suit. And if you're wearing a blue suit, blue shirt it's even better. It shows style and confidence IMO. Enjoy,

Pepsi is too casual for formal wear. If you wear modern dress clothes that are slightly loud may not be bad. But run off the mill formal no go with a black Gmt ...

Blue and red combined are loud. They will stand out as a statement in a suit with solid color shirt and matching tie.

Perhaps you should ask if wearing a suit is too formal for a Pepsi...

Not a problem at all.

I've never understood these threads about watches and suits.

Me either--seems fine to me. As the saying goes, wear what YOU like. I don't wear suits much, but wouldn't hesitate to wear your watch with one.

Rolex invented the universal watch. ROLEX is proper with jeans/t-shirt/tennies during the day, proper with the business suit, tie, white shirt and dress shoes, and proper with tux. This is true for any Rolex from Air-King to Day Date.

As long as you're comfortable with it..........who cares?

I wear my "Pepsi" w/ or w/o a suit.

GMT Pepsi was designed for professional airline pilots who had to wear a suit and tie uniform, so yes.

It's a little on the casual side but I don't mind it especially when I wear a blue shirt!

I think it is casual for a suit, but most people don't seem to care anymore.
