White or Blue 15300?
I know I know, this has been asked since the dawn of time.
Ultimately I will make my own decision, but I am interested in knowing what people on this forum think. I am downsizing some of my Rolex collection (ss/pt yacht + 16610lv) to pick up an AP RO 15300. I have always wanted a blue dialed watch, but I'm also drawn towards the white/silver. My main collection would be an Aquanaut 5167/1a and the AP. The main reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on the blue yet is because I think some day I would like to own the Nautilus 5711 and wonder if having 2 blue dials would be a little much. I'm a much bigger fan of the white RO than I am the white Naut. Anyone have any thoughts or comments on my "predicament"? |

Blue is so different. And also, from the three it changes the the most depending on the light. If its an Ap go for the blue. White is so generic IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.

Sometimes Its also skin tone. My skin is like a vampire so white will just blend with me.
But here is mine. |

I voted blue, but honestly, it sort of depends on your skintone. I'm from Norway and is white as a ghost, a white faced watch needs something going on (like the Navy ROO and the panda ROC I have) to it not to be too bland.
I had a white Explorer 2, it looked good after summer when my skin was a bit darker but got a bit boring on my skin most of the year. Now if my skin tone was darker a white faced watch with nothing else going on would be very very nice. It's a very good contrast. But that's just my opinion, both are great watches. |
