Your "Whackiest" moment....ever!!

Hi guys,

When was the last time you did something "whacky" for the first time?

Mine dates way back to 1969. It was my first job with Glaxo, I was just 23 and we were all on a company conference for 3 whole days.

Now you know what these 3-day conferences can get like...9 ~ 5 meetings and then let the fun 'n' games begin. Well, we were all quite pissed on beer and some of my friends enticed me to perform on stage.

We were having a great time when this guy announced the "Surprise Event" of the evening. Meanwhile, I was being all dolled up backstage, lipstick, make-up, costume, the works!!

Someone turned on the stripper's type music, I was shoved onto the stage (I had already downed about 7 beers) and I began a slow gyration that left everyone in raptures.

Anyway, to cut a long act short, I finally came down to my underwear after about five minutes of slow, stimulating (?) stripping and finally landed on the Managing Director's lap. He enjoyed every moment of it and that show of mine was the talk of the organization for many a month to come.

Cheers - JJ

Amazing how times have changed, even since I began my career in '83. Rather than the MD laughing his ass off, today that would likely be your last "performance"!

I'm glad I at least got in on the tail end of work fun! I can't remember any of my whacky moments 'cause I was probably too pissed to remember

whackiest day was the day I joined some Rolex forum where some guy with a really nice white sweater kept posting picks of a pumpkin strapped on his wrist.
