Same Rolex Different Finish/Accent?

I'm just curious how many members have the same Rolex model but in different finishes or different bezels? I recently bought my first Rolex GMTIIC SS and was struggling to decide between this and the DSSD. But now that I have the GMTIIC in SS, I can't see myself buying the DSSD nor a Sub as well. To me they look fairly similar, although they serve different purposes. Do you have more then 1 model of rolex with a different finish/accent?

My next goal, definitely a TT Yachtmaster II, but it'll take some time to save up some major dough

Not sure which of your questions you want answered so I'll say "yes and no"

I have a TT Sub and for a while I also had a SS Sub. While I appreciate the polished center links of yellow gold on the stainless bracelet, I don't like the PCL on an all SS bracelet. Were I to be able to purchase a SS GMTIIC, I'd probably have the center links brushed to match the rest of the bracelet. JMHO. YMMV.

I guess the lengthy wording is unclear, hence the low amount of replies. Just wondering if you have more then 1 of the same watch but with a different finish. IE what "dba" said, he has a TT sub as well as a SS sub. I'm just curious that's all! For sentimental values, because my SS GMT IIC is my first Rolex, I don't think I'd ever sell it. But if I had a SS Daytona and fell in love with a Rose Gold version, I'd probably sell the SS and pick up the Rose Gold instead of keeping both. Thoughts?

A lot of folks do, but I think variety is the spice of life - lots of variation, keep an open mind, and watch your collection flourish
