I've never heard of any of those listed. As a college student in the late 60's I guess I don't remember much past that era...

Well I have heard of Guns N' Roses since I have quite a few of the former, and, regarding the latter, it's better to smell like a rose than Axl Rose.

For me personally, I can give you a list of albums from the 1960's but for the 1980's it would be a list of Jazz albums!!!
Take it easy.....Leo

great choices... i'd have to give that some thought. just saw the cult about 2 weeks ago, also shows seen this year (from your list of fav albums) areosmith, guns n roses, lol.. saw duff mckagan at a local watering hole a couple of weeks back. had a chat with him, was going to buy him a beer, but someone beat me to punch lol.

so a bit ot here, i see about 60 concerts a year. lynyrd skynyrd last night, assemblage 23 tonight... and tomorrow, pain in the grass; lineup: the offspring, three days grace, chevelle, candlebox, royal bliss, witchburn, sandrider, and walking papers. yeah, gonna be a fun weekend!

...one reason i have been mia from here

The black album is not exactly 80's. I'd rather put Master of Puppets here. The best metal album ever.
Agree with the cult. The most underrated band ever. They are one of my all time favourites.

"Love" that song and album. I played in a cover band that used SSS as the opener for our second set. Immediately got everyones attention. Every time we played it people would ask who originally did it.

I would also throw Operation Mindcrime on that list.

Pyromania, Hysteria, Whitesnake, Slippery When Wet, Back in Black, 1984, and even lighter stuff like The Outfield's Play Deep, Bangin' & Voices of Babylon. I like Bryan Adams' Reckless and Into the Fire. All great stuff!
