does a daytona ss wear as big as a gmtIIc?
i am just wondering if a daytona feels as large as a gmtIIc on the wrist. i am looking for something to compare a daytona to. i have never tried on or even seen a daytona in real life. any positive input would be appreaciated. even some comparative pictures would be great as well.

Daytona's looks smaller on the wrist because of the busy dial...the black dialed ones at least.

It's slightly smaller than the GMT b/c of the smaller case & bezel, but it's quite comfortable. |

The Daytona wears smaller than all of the other Rolex sports models that have been upgraded to the new supercase max-dial look, it does not have a supercase or a thicker body.

I believe it wears smaller due to the case and bezel.

The Daytona looks considerably smaller on the wrist than the GMT IIC which is caused by said "Super case" of the GMT IIc but also the polished bezel of the Daytona. Furthermore, the upper and lower right lug of the Daytona are slightly slimmer than the left ones, making it look even smaller...

Very comfortable watch. I would say it does wear smaller.

No. IMHO the GMTIIc and SubC wear much larger for 40mm than the Daytona. Every time I've tried on a Daytona it's felt much smaller than 40mm.

It does wear smaller than the IIc but the Daytona is the more comfortable IMO.

The Daytona wears smaller, partly because it has a thinner case due to the lack of the date function. IMO, it is a more comfortable watch, however, the GMTIIC is more legible.

Yep, my Daytona wears smaller (and lighter) than my GMT or Sub due to a thinner and curved case, as well as sitting flatter on my wrist as the case back doesn't seem as raised.
