Ok so i own two beautifull rolexes,
one is a GMT Master II ceramic and the other is a white face milgauss. i love both watches but latetly i have this itch inside of wanting a daytona ss black dial and this was always my favorite rolex. i need some opinions on what you guys would do if you were me!!!! would you keep the two or sell and go for the daytona, it would be a newer modelwith he engraved rolex inside....... |

Personally, I wouldn't trade two for one. Especially two great ones like the ones you have. But, if it will make you happy, why not?

If you do not have the means to buy a Daytona now, wait. There are always trusted TRF sellers who can offer you one when you are ready.
Until then stick with those two lovely watches you have. My two cents. |

Save for the Daytona. Nothing like having 3 Rolexes in the rotation :)

Of the three watches, you've already got the best all-round luxury watch in the world (with the GMT) and you've got the one modern Rolex to have some real potential for future desirability (the white Milgauss). The Daytona craze has peaked now, and I don't think we'll see the same levels of hysteria (and price inflation) again. Now, if you truly love the watch (and not just its reputation - I know that, I got hooked in by it), then go for it, but I wouldn't sell the two you have - they're the foundation for a great Rolex collection

IMHO, the Milgauss is a potential trade if that is the only portion of a Daytona you are missing. Check some of the TRF trusted sellers in the classifieds - many are willing to do a trade + cash for a Daytona. As Chris just said - it has some appeal.
Keep the GMT for sure... But don't sell the Milgauss just on the hopes you'll get the rest of the funds to buy a Daytona.

IMHO I'd rather have the GMTII + Milgauss over a Daytona. The GMT is more versatile and has a date. If I was trading 2 for 1 I'd look at AP.

Well so far im 100% keeping my watches!!!! i was leaning to keeping them but wated to see what others opinios were.
I do like the daytona very much but as most of you agree my two are a great start to a great collection so as of now i will hold on to them and start saving to get me the daytona in the near future.... Thanks everyone for your opinions im glad all of you were thinking the same as i was of keeping both. |

I don't think I would trade two for one. And this is coming from a guy who has any Daytona at the top of his list.

I would sell the milgauss for the daytona unless it was a black dial milgauss then I would keep both & save for the daytona. I don't like white dial watches.
