WatchOut!! TossOut!!
I think the gentlemen who frequent the WatchOut!! section to expose the numerous fakes and scams on eBay, Craigslist, and other questionable sites, should be noted for their due diligence and efforts. They are saving a lot of uninformed individuals a lot of grief and money by having fakes delisted and scammers exposed.
How difficult would it be to start a "Scamimeter" to keep a physical count of the number of successful delistings and exposures? Something akin to what MacDonalds does when they sell a burger. I can just see it now - "10,000 fakes and scammers exposed to date on the TRF Scamimeter". Wouldn't this scare the crap out of a surfing scammer fishing for information on the TRF site if he happened upon the mighty TRF SCAMIMETER!???!!! Don't know how the meter could be maintained - just an idea - and no, I am not drinking or performing substance abuse!! Thanks, guys (you know who you are) for the important service you are providing with your sleuthing -a most valuable FREE service for TRF. J. Alan |

It is that, and one dear to my heart. Can't stand the thought of a swindler out to take peoples' hard earned money away from them. Not too many things in life much lower than a thief, IMHO.

Thanks guys for the positive replies - you deserve thanks for all your sleuthing in order to protect the innocent. I just saw the movie "Looper" tonight and what if we could get them to focus on scammers !!!
As to volunteering, you would need a first class statistics person with computer savvy which I ain"t got no how. J. Alan |
