I'm RED with envy..............
......... No longer!
With all this talk or red subs, I've finally managed to post a shot of my new acquisition. I purchased it last month but immediately sent it to RSC San Fran for a movement only service and crystal replacement. I've been looking for a red for almost 2 years and as soon as I saw this I grabbed it. It was in my price range and the dial and insert are to die for. I know you can't really tell from the cruddy picture I took but the insert is beginning to grey, and I'm looking forward to many years of it slowly ghosting. The chamfers of the lugs are really nice and the thickness of the lugs are just shy of perfect. Now that I have my 1970 red and my 1968 GMT, I've started planning for my next piece. I'm thinking a 1016 or a 1655 but I'm in no rush. A big thanks to Jacek for making this happen for me! In the meantime, enjoy the wrist shot until I learn how to take a proper picture. |

Welcome to the club! Technically, I am a member, but I still have to swap the replacement bezel with the fat font bezel + pressure/water-proof testing.
