I can't get this watch out of my mind.. I just picked up a GMT II, but the way things are going, I may just have to get the LV as well. It's a beauty!

Awesome JJ! I have the red/blue GMT. I will buy one more in this lifetime. Yep, it'll be the green Sub. Just an amazing piece to behold. For the past few weeks i've been keen on that second Rolex, so green it will be.

Why all of a sudden the Pro-LV sentiments?

Strange; I did a poll about the LV vs other models, as I have been quite interested in it myself. In posts and polls, I got a lot of negative comments against the LV design, including one comparing the bezel colour to dog poop! Yikes!

Other posts about the LV garnered a number of "I-don't-like-it" comments.

Now JJ has one, and its the hottest thing since 2003. Has to be the JJ Factor?

So now JJ can buy a Yachtmaster II or Leopard-pattern Daytona and all of a sudden, ADs worldwide will see a marked increase in the sale of YMIIs and Leopardy-Daytonas!!!

Three is a great number, I hope its all working out for you JJ,

Best,

Chris

Thanks, Chris. I don't think I'm a trend setter, but there was a time when even I felt that the LV was overpriced and not really good value for money.

Now I've gotten used to the maxi dial and that green is certainly growing on me. It's a great watch and, more importantly, a GIFT with so much love from my only sister.

She also paid an amazing price for it....so it all worked out pretty well in the end.

Cheers - JJ

Don't think so. They are pretty easily available, but not in large numbers.

Thanks JJ it's all your fault
I called my AD today to ask about an LV he told me they had just had a delivery in yesterday and in it was a M series LV, so to cut a long story short I pick it up Monday.
Cheers Paul

PS. I knew this was going to be an expensive hobby

Well done, Paul. I think yours will come with the Rolex inscription around the inner chapter ring.

Lets Remember that JJ paid 0 GREEN for this beauty. It was a gift. I wouldn't purchase one but I would certainly accept a gift from JJ's sister.
