Rose Gold for ladies

Considering the 179171 Date Just for my wife. How do you all feel about the rose gold versus just going with the yellow gold? I think it's really nice but will it maintain the classic style 10 years from now with the rose gold?

Rose gold is in itself classic. It's been around a long time. My mom's 1947 class ring is of rose gold. Matter of fact, my very first Rolex was a TT rose gold/steel lady Datejust. The 179171 is a gorgeous watch.

Rose gold has a warmer look than yellow gold that I found very appealing.

Oh - and welcome to TRF!

My wife decided on YG for her 31mm Date Just because she said it matches her YG jewelry.
Dont know if this is a valid reason but I like the RG better.

Does she like RG and YG? I personally prefer SS and YG watches because I wear a lot of platinum jewelry.

Rose Gold is very much an alloy that is in vogue. Rolex's Everose doesn't change hue over time, and is an excellent choice.

Just be sure the Mrs. likes the look !
