PAM 164 is here! PICS!
Picked up my PAM 164 "J" first thing this morning. I snapped a few quick pics tonight. These pics aren't the best, it was already getting dark by the time I got home from work. Here it is!

La distorsione di velocità, quella è una vigilanza bella! "
Oops. I meant to say in Italian, "Wow, that's a beautiful watch!" but I think I actually said, "The speed distortion, that is one beautiful vigilance!" In any case, portilo nella buona salute, Jeff. Arrivederci.

Thanks everybody! This is really a great watch, I'm glad I took the leap over to Panerai.
The PAM is much different than the Sub. A few things that I really like about the PAM are; size (44mm), straps vs. bracelets, the inverted cyclopse, and the one-of-a-kind crown! On a Rolex, you can neither feel or hear the movement's rotor - not on a Panerai! You can hear it spinning, and at times you can even FEEL it spinning on your wrist. Very cool! I think the PAM is a better watch for me. I've always felt that I'm too young for a Rolex (don't flame me) and that they weren't a good match for me. The Panerai seems younger, more fun, and much more casual. I think I made the right choice.

Congrats on the Panny. I see you swapped straps right away. How easy is this new system? LOL I like the polished crown guard on that one. My 104 had that too. I also prefer the silver hands over the black ones. Great aquisition. Drop me a PM with a mailing addy & I will mail you an OP car window sticker

I really like both straps; the OEM brown Croc and the black rubber strap. I don't really prefer one over the other. I just got a new strap in the mail today. I'm just about to post pics in a new thread.
