Magnetized Rolex?
My 18 month old YM (which I wear everyday) recently stopped keeping time. A month ago, I dropped it off at my Rolex Authorized Repair Center who contacted me today that the watch had been repaired. I asked about the problem and was told that the watch had been "magnetized" which is a problem sometimes for people who travel (i.e. go through metal detectors / X-Ray, etc.)
This is plausible to me as I not only travel quite a bit but also work in a courthouse environment when I do pass through such equipment regularly. That being said, I have never heard of magnetization as being a source of problems for Rolex before. Have any of you ever heard / experienced this type of problem? |
