That is awful, maybe you should put the full serial number and any info you have on him. I assume you have already done a police report, but if not do it immediately. He just took the watch and ran?

Thief

Robert,

Yup! He just stood upminside the bank and ran out chased him for a block and when he made an entry into an alley I followed my instinct and stopped. Not worth it. Yes. Filed a Police Report and a Video o the guy was taken by the bank. I hope he gets apprehended. Don't care about the watch now - I just want everyone to be vigilant. Lets not let this happen again.

It could have been worse bro. I could have gotten hurt. Thanks God it didnt get to that...

Cheers!

Gab

Sorry for your loss - wise decision not to follow down alley.

Hopefully the video will lead to his apprehension.

Crazy, you definitely made the right decision and its not worth it. Other than verifying the person's identity before hand and make sure they actually have the money I am not sure what else there is to do.

Damn!!! My Exp II was stolen last week also, so I know exactly what your going through. Glad you didn't get injured and I hope they get the D-bag and your watch. I also hope there's an extra hot place in hell for thieves.

One thing I did that's a long shot, is I registered the serial number as an Internet domain name and created a web page with pictures of the watch, the police case number, and police phone number. This way if someone honest ever googles the serial number, they can get information on how to return it. Long shot I know, but I feel so frickin helpless.

Very sorry to hear about this.

Did you also provide a report to Rolex so they can have the serial # on their database?

Important to ask cops to look at security video. You have the time and date narrowed, so it should not be an issue.

Thanks Bro!

Thanks Bro! Yup! The video is being pulled out now and will be given to the cops by Tuesday. He had to be desperate. He was waiting for me for around 30minutes inside. EVeryone, video included, had a clear view of him...
