PAM 422: Who has one and what are your thoughts?

Would love to hear from current or former owners on their experiences with the 422. I think it's a beauty and am in the process of getting one. Please share the good, bad and ugly!

Icon14 It's my next PAM

6154-like case, gorgeous dial, small-secs is in my book and so is the "sleeper" power-reserve indicator... If it had a "9" and 8-day PR I'd be in seventh heaven

Glenn, who's about the only member here that owns one, will fill you in

What's not to like? Gorgeous case, great movement, small seconds, nicely balanced dial, PR on the back, ecru lume, sapphire (unless you NEED plexi). A great piece.

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm pretty smitten with the watch and pulled the trigger. It lands in NYC tomorrow. Always a great feeling of anticipation knowing a new watch is on the plane/truck heading toward its new home. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow nite and do the unveiling.

Greetings from a fellow 422 owner :)

Congrats! You can't go wrong with the 422, I get lots of compliments on it! It feels nice in the hand and very wearable for daily. I love every bit of it. It's on my wrist most of the time lately.

Wrist shot with Perth's beautiful sunset and city in the background:

Cheers! Wear it in good health!

Thanks Rich. I looked at the 372 and liked it very much. The 422 sang to me though. Would have loved to get the 233 but that was out of my price range.

Congratulations. 422 is one of my favorite Pams. The distortion from the sapphire is quite alluring- similiar to a plexi - but its very durable and hard to scratch!

Wear it in good health!

Wow, looks great on your wrist! Are you liking the assolutamente oem strap? I changed mine to a Mario Paci Originale 1938 and it seems to be a great match. Here is a pic of it:

Everything about the strap sings 'vintage' to me and the stitching matches the lume :)

Wear yours in good health!
