fake or not? Pls help!

Hi all, apologies for this "amateur-like" post, but I am about to do my first purchase ever online and was wondering what people's thoughts are on this piece.

The seller has been extremely professional with me over phone and email, but given the big purchase from my end I wanted to seek your experienced opinion on this--fake or not?

Many thanks in advance for your comments and input!

Careful Shimke..

I am no expert on Brietlings, but... this one. I got a bad feeling. Looks cheaply made.

I agree. I'm no expert either, but the quality just looks off to me.

No apologies needed and you definitely want to be sure before taking the plunge on a quality piece. Just like the others I'm no expert, but am wondering if you have any straight on shots instead of at an angle? There are a couple obvious indicators that you (or we) may be able to see from a straight on shot.

i would worry - look at the holes in the leather strap - not all the same. also, there is no dead on picture of the dial which also makes me skeptical. finally the model number looks blurry. bad etching??

i would stay clear

It is just impossible to tell from those pictures. A couple of thoughts.

Ask the seller for head-on pics of the watch laid on a sheet of paper with today's date and his email address printed on it.

Arrange for a watchmaker in the seller's hometown to open and verify the watch for you.
