Would you say the numbers on the bezel look odd too?
Sorry I'm new to the forum so still finding my way, but very keen to get feedback on a potential red sub purchase The oversized crown guards worry me...... Last edited by Tools; 1 December 2012 at 09:14 AM.. |

the serial number is in the right range, however this watch doesn't feel right to me. As I mentioned before the crown guards seem oversize also on the reverse side where the crown meets the case it doesn't resemble this shape '[' which I've seen on other Rolex's of this type.

Thanks, it would be interesting to know though what other than the crown guards show that it is a fake?

Best to study real watches in person if you want to educate yourself. You won't get all the details here of determining a fake.

Thanks I will steer well clear, but what worries me most is that it's being sold by a reputable rolex dealer
