end link question
I've worn my Exp II for about 7 years, and I recently noticed that the the end link is becoming loose and there's a small gap between the end link and the case. The watch is due for a service anyways, but what I'd like to know is
1) Do I need a new bracelet? 2) Until I get this fixed, is it safe to wear the watch? Thanks. |

As long as the pin is well secured in the two lug holes, there is no danger of losing the watch.
And the lose end link is a common problem with NON SEL's (Solid End Links). It is an easily solved issue, however, since the end link just needs a bit adjusting. A watch maker can do that for you in 5 minutes.

Hi there,
Don't worry you don't need to buy a new barcelet and it is quite safe to wear you watch. Now, if you want to make it look like new, just remove the bracelet and try to refold the end links tighter, and slowly, using your hands, then refit the bracelet. cheers / Pierre |

Quite a testiment after 7 years of wear and tear, just take it to your watchmaker and get them to repair it.

Yeah, but don't sleep with that Explorer II on your wrist. You might lose it!
