Suspicious DRSD on ebay!

Hi everybody,

Just saw a Double red Sea Dweller on ebay for sale. It has no serial number engraved on the inside of the caseback, which makes me suspicious. As far as I know, all the DRSD's should have serials engraved on the inside of casebacks, the Mark I and II the last 3 digits, after that the whole number. Am I right?

If it would be a service caseback, would the outer engravings not be different And why would a service caseback be needed when all the other parts are still original (supposed they are)? And if it is aservice caseback, why does the seller not state so?

Pearl would not be such an issue, but I believe the whole bezel insert is either service or aftermarket (I tend to lean to the 2nd). Anyway, warning didn't help, someone went for it (for over 11000).
