Gold isn't always shiny...

Greetings TRF,

Let's put an end to this prejudice! It is absolutely false! Gold isn't always shiny...

...It depends on the lighting!

Thank you for watching, feel free to comment!

Yes indeed! In fact, it even looks good with slippers in the background!

Great picture!

some good pics showing Rolex yellow gold, an epic alloy, unique and such that all the photographs of the yellow gold each show a distinct color-shine-glow-etc... but all of them combined don't give the eyes all of what is seen in real life.

A solid gold Rolex looks awesome as long as there are no diamonds.

no, it'd not be comfy. I did it to balance the color exposure on the camera for the shot.

I definitely agree about the solid gold Rolex...I guess we'll just have to disagree on the diamonds!

This is 14k solid gold - the pillow/cushion case is brushed gold and the band is a mesh. Neither have high shine and that's why I love it.

My wife and I were in a jewelry store about a month ago, and they had some rings that were partially made of a matte finished gold. They were kind of neat and had a real different appearance. One half of the ring as polished, and as it went around the finger, it had a brushed matte finish as it came around to meet the polished side on top.

Carl I'm happy you finally get a CoolPix so we can see what you have.

Great pic my friend.

Thank you Jocke! I always had a CoolPix though, if you can't see what I have it's probably because I'm missing a few light bulbs here and there...
