Perfect collection
Despite a Rolex being a great allrounder, I'm a great believer in having a watch for every situation...my target collection is as follows:
1) Black Tie: Rose Gold Patek Philippe Nautilus 2) Smart Suit: WG Rolex Daytona 3) Understated Suit: Jorg Gray 6500 4) Slacks & Sports Jacket: Bremont MB2 TWG LE 5) Jeans: Rolex Sea Dweller 16600 6) Sweats: Tag Microtimer 7) Bloke Stuff: G-Shock Gulfman Black I have numbers 3 to 7...it starts to get a bit harder now!!! I also have a Baume & Mercier Riviera so if anyone wants to straight swap for a Nautilus or a Daytona, let me know!!! Which numbers above would you replace with Rolexes? |

Not bad. OR you can all it a day with just #5. I'd be happy with that.

I'd go white gold Nautilus for black tie. It'd also go better with a suit than the Daytona.
Number 5 suits situations 3-6 better than others suggested. G shock I guess just in case you do a bit of jack hammering. There you go down to 3. |

Yep - saves a lot of money upfront plus future service costs and fits just about every situation

I like having a collection as well but I prefer to buy watches I like rather than having watches especially made for every single situation. I happen to prefer smaller, dressier timepieces and I've been able to wear them with jeans and t-shirts without any problem, therefore I'd say I collect versatile watches...

If I were to match my wardrobe to your list, I'd only need #5. And that would suit me fine.
And no, I don't even own a tie :D |

I think a TT Date Just belongs somewhere between 2-4. YOu may need to add to that collection.

Only one which is perfect to you.
I personally think that the PP Nautilus could do all that. Go big or go home!

My perfect collection would consist of a SS, TT, and Gold Rolex. I have a TT DJII. I'd like a SS SubC, and either a YG DDII or GMTIIc.
