Query about the Daytona
Hi there,
As a newbie to the watch scene I am not particularly clued up on all things rolex (hence one of the reasons for joining here!) My fiance has been looking at possibly getting me a Daytona for our recent engagement and she mentioned seeing one that had the three small dials showing the day on one, date on another and the 24hr time on the last. After some research I can't seem to find a picture of a Daytona with these dials so is she barking mad or is it a replica she's seen? Would rather find out so I can tell her to steer well clear! Thanks for the help. Andy |

The watch mentioned would be a £25 fake. Occasionally the seller (scammer) with try to obtain thousands by deception, spinning their bull and playing to the ignorance/trust of the purchaser.
You just can't get away from the fact that a genuine Daytona is going to cost £6,000+. Always buy from a trusted source. |

Run away! No such thing as a date subdial on a Daytona.

Educate yourself on the brand before you make a purchase. It will be worth it as a watch of this magnitude is quite an investment to some. This is probably the best place for information AND to make a purchase. Good luck.
