Hi guys,

Just to recapitulate over the last six months....it was 17 May 2005 and I got my banning notice from the other place. Was I sad?

Yes, very very sad....not because I was banned, but because I was starting to worry how on earth I would keep in touch with my good friends like Daren, Ed, Adrian, James, Earl, Al, Liz and the others who mean so much to me.

Then I got an invite from Adrian to hop on to this forum which I promptly did. Nothing much was happening here....in fact it was as dead as a dodo!!

Then to make matters worse, some idiot posted some real nasty pics and that totally put me off, so I kinda left....not completely logged off, but just left.

Went off to another forum, but still kept in touch with these guys as I did realise I was not being nice to my "REAL" friends whom I had known all these years.

So I made a come back (in June, I think) and it's been hunky dory since. I love this place, I love the administrator and respect him and, most importantly, I think I could never in my life ever imagined that I would have made so many sincere friends over an internet.....and (except for Al), I've still to meet at least another one of you great chaps!!

I'm pretty sure the source of those ghastly photos can be traced back to a certain New York, NY ISP.

But yeah, this place has been the greatest place to hang my hat since I got banned from the other place back in January of 2004.

I was the first to go... then Golden (Nyah - who is a member here but has only posted a handful of times) then a good year and a bit passed until JJ got the axe, followed by a mass exodus and subsequent bannings.

There's got to be at least a dozen of us.

I got banned more than a week after I stopped posting there entirely, telling one of the mods that I'd had enough of this crap and I'd go somewhere else to get my laughs.

Hell, padi got banned just for visiting this forum - go figure.

I spoke my mind in a post on a thread of where is JJ or something like that then come over here from an invite from JJ. About 1-2 weeks later I was banned from there reason given was due to our low posts or our disrupting the forum we weren't wanted, something like that.

I was banned for copying a TURF thread that showed the dissention there at the time and posting it here. The next day, I was booted off TURF. Dissent on or off TURF cannot be tolerated.

I got banned the same time as Ed and still reckon it was his fault.

The reason I was given for my banning was because in their words, I'd shown I was not interested in posting there anymore. Seems you are not even allowed to lurk.

And when they read this ( We all know you do lurk here!!!) I would like to thank them, it has given us this place to be ourselves and have fun. I know there are still some great people over there, and to be honest I still miss them a bunch.

But I am with friends, and that is the most important thing to me.

I was of member of TURF (1999 – 2002) when that forum was still a good place. But in terms of sheer fun and friendship, this is the best!
