My wife and I got our FIRST ROLEXES last night!
Last night my wife and I bought our first Rolexes at our local AD.
She got the Stainless & WG Air King 34mm And I got the GMTIIc in Stainless: We had a very pleasant experience at the AD. Got 10% off hers (nothing off my GMT). They also threw in a Wolf Watch Winder, 2X Jewelry Polishing Cloths, FREE First factory service, and a nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon I have 2 quick questions: 1. They said they would mail our Warranty Cards and appraisal - is that normal?? 2. The lumes were not visible when we left the store and went outside. I take it they are not tritium and need light exposure to "charge" ?? Thanks for everyones help and advice here! |

Congrats. I would safely assume that some ADs do things a little different and would mail your card. Congrats and the watches look lovely. Welcome to the Forum.

2 great watches. I have heard of AD's mailing warranty cards to you, so a little strange imo but has happened before =). Enjoy them both in great health

Great pair! Maybe they need the warranty cards for appraisal?

Awesome congrats! I always like these free factory service for the first time service, with prices for RSC services nowadays that can be very significant savings! Again awesome pair.

I've always loved the GMT's, especially the new model with the ceramic bezel and green hand. A friend of mine purchased a GMTII while we were traveling abroad, Abu Dhabi to be exact and I have been somewhat envious ever since, at any rate he only received 12% off, not a great deal but it sounds like you received some rather nice perks with your purchase whereas my friend was handed a receipt.

Very nice. As far as the lume goes, they should start glowing like crazy once they get charged by some sunlight. Congratulations.
