100% fake. LEC clearly visible, clasp engraving totally wrong, font on the bezel wrong, rehaut engraving wrong, I can hear the 21,600 bph of the fake movement, and on goes the list...... I hope your uncle didn't pay more than about 80 US$ to the "Folex" factory sales rep in Singapore.

Only one way to be certain. Throw it against the wall as hard as you can. Rolex will not falter. Folex will shatter.

Is that "18K" half-stamped in the steel? That should have tipped him off that something was wrong.

Very bad fake.

Yes, it is 18K SS. The best steel you can find.

Fake dial, fake bracelet, fake crystal, fake bezel, fake date wheel, and the list goes on and on and on. A very poor fake in fact.

The "Oyster Perpetual Date" font used on dial tells the tale from a mile away. The "9" on the date wheel looks bent, and it's not the cyclops.

I'd appreciate if you could give us some more info on how this was "passed" to him by a "Company Rep". I'm a regular visitor in Singapore and, even if in take my precautions, I would not like any of this ever "passed" to me?
