December 7, 1941....

...a day which will in infamy.

some shots of the USS Arizona and USS Utah memorial as well as the USS Missouri. The two bookends of WWII.

Visit of you have a chance. BTW--The memorials closed earlier this week due to a huge storm that's passing through. Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea were even issued blizzard warnings.

Never Forget.

The waking of the sleeping tiger. I for one will never forget the ones who righted the wrong.

I remember being there 15 years ago during my honeymoon. To see the oil still seeping up from the Arizona was chilling. And the tradition of throwing your lei into the water over it was perfect.

God bless them all.

"I've seen a documentary about this"

Yup. Oahu was pretty much a battle ground in 1941. The Japanese attacked all our military bases.

Never Forget....

God bless for putting this up.

My grandfather was in the dry docks across the harbor and my Mom ( just a child) was at home in Kalihi not far away.

Please let us never forget.
