16710 Question

I'm having a hard time remembering but did the 16710 GMT have a period during its facelift where it had hollow end links and no lug holes? I seem to remember it did.

I have never seen that combination, there was SEL with lug holes through the case. So I guess with non SEL not excist.

Thanks boys! I must have been thinking of the solids with lug holes. Boy, the brain only has a finite amount of room for GMT knowledge.

Hollow end links won't fit correctly with the "no holes lugs" IIRC. No space holes inside end links to remove springbars

After taking the time to read the thread correctly I agree with the statement above.

If there are no lug holes, you can't put on a bracelet.

Maybe it have a white dial too.

Must remember to read, think, THEN type.

I thought the OP was talking about no lug holes and hollow center links, which did exist. Then re read the post agreeing to the follow up comments, not confirming the OP's suspicions. I only had two beers. I'm going to bed.
