Pick one. Be honest!
Looking for an all around daily wear. Something versatile
Either tudor black bay on strap Or pam 279 Which do you think? Loving the 279 lately! |

The 279 wouldn't be my first pick for a PAM, but I prefer it over the BB.

I'm looking for an automatic luminor preferably with date. The brushed finish is a plus
I can't think of any other pam that fits the bill Not a fan of the 312 too chunky |

164 is brushed SS case/polished bezel, automatic, date, the case you like. Between 279 and BB on strap, I'd probably go BB only because I wouldn't want to pay extra for the 279's bracelet. I would easily take the 164 over BB, though. |

Yes, the Arabic is a love/hate thing on a PAM. I love it and think it balances the dial nicely compared to a 104 or 111, but, I know I'm in the minority on this one. How about 233? Also brushed and some people say it wears better than a 1950s automatic. |

I love the 279. If they made the same model in SS brushed or polished without the bracelet I'd be in Any references match that? I hope so The pam website is dreadful |

Unless you want the tobacco dial, the 104 is the same as 279, but black dial and polished SS and strap. Have you tried the new website? It's an improvement, even if there is a bit too much clicking needed. |

+ 1 Take a look at the 392 (42 mm). Very similar to the 312, but a bit smaller all round. Has a nicer dial imho Comparison pics (from PuristSPro)...

Wow the 392 is solid
How thick is it though? Some say its the same thickness as the. 312 How is the 392 vs 104 or 279 for thickness? Any auto luminors in brushed like the 279? Thanks guys youre all awesome! |

I don't know why you picked a 279, but between those two, the Black Bay wins my favor hands down.

But on to your 279... a bracelet-equipped PAM works with leather but not the other way around. So if you can afford the 1K premium for the bracelet, take the 279 and slap some leather on it. The Tudor BB is a great-looking watch, can't go wrong there...

If you already own a Pam, then between the choices I'd do the bb. I really like the vintage look with the snowflake dial. It's also much cheaper.

I just can't do a cyclops on a Panerai for some reason.

Neither makes my list (I really don't like the build-in cyclops solution Panerai uses on certain model, immediate deal killer for me).

Voted BB, but I think you should get a 210/183!

I voted BB because the 279 wouldnt be high on my Pam list, but the BB is basically tops for a Tudor.
