Very interesting article... too bad I buy my watch because I like it while those guys buy it to impress.

I have been wearing Rolex for many years. Not once has a woman that I know of liked me or showed interest because of my watch or even made a comment.

That's a good case for a Swiss Army Watch. Buy a timepiece, a car, or a house because it pleases you, not to impress others. To think otherwise is a fool's game leading to future financial instability.

Yeah... That just about sums up the quality of the article!

That was an interesting read...however, consider yourself a loser if you need a watch to attract a woman.

Well it made me laugh... especially the part about a blinged-out Breitling being better than a Rolex for impressing people...

So many people don't even know that my Daytona is a Rolex, they
always act surprised when I tell them, I guess they think all Rolexes
look like gold DD's, I like it that way!!

The writers must have spent 5 five minutes at the bar a Tao. In that amount of time, you will see more wrist shakes than in a peep show... All by a bunch of over confident Wall Street types trying to draw attention to their watch.

Trust me gents, it's competitive out there. Any edge you can get comes in handy.

That's why I'm picking up my new Submariner III later today.

So I buy nice watches to impress women?

And all this time I thought I liked nice watches because of some sick addiction to nice timepieces.

Whew. I feel much better now.

Everybody has an opinion, and different motivations.

Do I believe this happens, yeah.

I simply can't afford to do this though, my wife would kill me.
