Q: What is this, exactly? A: Occam's Razor!

PAM000 - what is it??

Dive Watch? - No, due lack of timing bezel or second hand, although I do recognize it's underwater DNA
Dress Watch? - No, not really, kinda bulky case
Pilot Watch? - Certainly not
Sports Watch? - Well not in the sense that I would take it mountain biking so I'm going no

in fact, there are better watches in each of these categories than this one.

okay, We know what it's not, so what can we say it is......it is Occam's Razor: a principle of parsimony, economy, or succinctness. It states that among competing hypotheses, the one that makes the fewest assumptions should be selected and is attributed to the 14th century logician and Franciscan friar

or simply stated: The simplest explanation is usually the right one
or even better: It is pointless to do with more what is done with less

and that my frends is the essecnce of the 000. a few pictures to illustrate:

Crossthreading from screwdown crowns? I don't think so with this solution:

Eight lines of distracting text or even a second hand? Nope!

Display back to add height and limit depth rating - no sir, Sgt Joe Friday would approve.

Polished/brushed/beveled hands or SS/WG cirlces around the Lume - while cool in other watches is overkill here

Perfect blending of smoothness and angles that is both tasteful and practical

It is the cover watch for "Zen and Art of WISdom"

In Summary....It is one of the three things I have with me at all times: my IP5, my Watch and my Love for my wife:

Thanks guys!

Occam's Razor can be and has been applied in many different areas but seems applicable in some way to watches. or at least this watch.

Happy to see you're enjoying your 000 so much.
