If you get stranded in your car at least you'll have company!

Drive safe!

Right guys i'm back after a round trip of 8 hours. You lot nearly had me taking photos whilst sat in a Burger King eating a greasy burger and chips. Give me 10 and i will do a picture. For those of you who have seen my pictures before, you may still need to guess what it is after the photo!!!

Ok, this is how the day went, woke early and did the natural thing and got straight on the forum. Saw a thread on the explorer 1 and liked the simple uncluttered look of it but thought it might be too small. Left to play golf and had an hour to spare so went to the local AD and had a look at the Exp1 and liked the size(39mm I think).
Got to golf and it was cancelled so went back home and had a look on the dreaded auction site and bingo, a 2 month old unworn Exp 1. No bids so rang up, drove up and bought it home. Happy days. By the way, I had it checked this time BEFORE I PAID FOR IT .

So here you go .....I'm all excited and now I've forgotten howName: image.jpg

Drove from Hampshire to Coventry, weather for the most part was good, a few snow showers but not too bad, 2 hours 45 going but hit the rush hour on the m25 so took just over 4 hours to get back. Lots of severe weather warnings along the way for tonight and tomorrow

When i phoned up I told him I wouldnt buy it even if it meant coming home empty handed unless he could find someone to open it for me. He phoned when I was about 40 mins into the journey and said a shop in town would open it (wasnt a RSC) so I had a look inside and it looks good to me. I asked him to tighten it lightly cos i will need to have it pressure tested tomorrow so i will have a look in a mo and put pics up
