No more Rolex for me!

It has been a pleasure to be an active member of this forum, I have owned a multitude of Rolex and Omega watches since I was 16, they have brought me an enormous amount of pleasure. Now I am sporting a Seiko SBBN017.

Unfortunately they have all had to be sold in order to fund a house purchase. Thanks for the memories, the banter and the great advice, I shall pop back from time to time, but thanks for having me!

Good luck! House is probably a priority over watches... hate to admit it.

Since your Rolex investments paid off to fund your house purchase, I think you should continue to buy and enjoy wearing one and think of it as a down payment on your next acquisition ! At least that is the logic you could tell yourself so you could get another one : - )

Otherwise, enjoy your new home and come back soon !

You'll be back :) Perhaps you'll stumble on a nice vintage Rolex for the right price within your budget..

Congrats on the house. I had considered selling my watch when I bought my house but decided to hang onto it and save a little longer.

As others said, you are still more than welcome to partake in our conversations Rolex or Off Topic!

Best of luck with the home. I rather be a homeowner than a Rolex owner

That's just because the ban button was broken Marc...

I must agree with you though, I lurked and posted on this forum for about five months before buying my first Rolex and it was a lot of fun! Besides, since you gave us the wonderful news of your house purchase we'd love to get some updates!

Congratulations!
