Datejust crown - Original?
I have a late 1980s Datejust 2 tone. The crown is plain gold with no Rolex symbol. Is this an original crown or was it replaced?

If you mean the winding crown, yes, it's supposed to have the Rolex insignia.

Yes, I meant the winding crown. I have not had the watch since new so I have no way of knowing if it was ever replaced.

it's either replaced with a generic or completely polished off, either way you need a new crown
