I've gone and done it...

Well guys,

Today I realised one thing....in that post of mine on "Recap...", Al and Johnny opened up my eyes to a few things I should have realised a long time ago.....so....

I sat down and typed out a nicely worded PM to JBHII thanking him for everything and telling him that I wouldn't be posting there any more. I also told him that he was free to ban me if he wanted to, but that was his wish entirely. I worded it as politely as I could, thanked him and left.

JJ

JJ, I didn't mean or ask you to cut your ties, I was just stating what I would do if in your shoes.

Like you, I have always tried to get along with everyone. You know the old saying, keep your friends close and your enemies even closer.

My personal credo has always been to support my friends, and when one has been wronged, I support them. Much the way Daren (and others) supported me with JBH after I got banned.

Hell, even if a company, retail store or something, gives a friend a hard time, I stop doing business/spending time/money there. That's just me, and you know how hard-headed I can be.

Bottom line is, I just hope is was purely your decision and you can be happy with it. Besides, this is the best Rolex forum on the net, the numbers don't lie.

Yes, Johnny, it was entirely my decision. My love for you guys is more important than anything else in the world (except my immediate family, of course)....and I don't want to do anything that makes you guys uncomfortable.

You have a funny way of showing this (For starters, you don't like the Dutch).

What's so unusual about that?

Me too, but it was pass the dutchie (on the left hand side).

Besides Frans, at least we don't refer to you as a Belgian.

Ah yes, that supposedly South African shallow pan used by the homeless and passed around campfires, usually containing baked potatoes. Hercule Poirot: “I’m NOT French, I’m Belgian!”.

Actually, my brother is Belgian…….
