Gmt Ii Bezel Replacement

My AD has ordered me an all black bezel and a black / red bezel for my Pepsi? Having had a look on here at the sore sale section and seeing the GMT II for sale I can see that the bezel is just the inlay section / just the coloured piece? If this is the case how is this removed from the stainless section of the bezel??

You're lucky to live in the UK. Can't do that in the US. My wife purchased a pepsi insert while in Munich. I'm going to buy a red/ black to celebrate my visit when in the UK next year.
Good luck,
dP

Thanks! Great write ups...I want to replace the green bezel on my LV and plan to order a replacement from Europe, but I am worried I won't get exactly what I want. I like the fat four on my original bezel and it seems the new green bezel LV's sold now have the skinny 4 in the 40. I wish there is a particular part number I can use to order it.

cheers

Why don't you just have your AD do the swap? Most likely they won't charge.

its not too hard to accomplish

I have replaced a couple of bezel inserts and the click springs. It's not too hard to do. I replaced the click spring not too long ago as the newer ones are longer and work much better. In the picture above, the longer spring is the newer one and the shorter spring is the older one. The shorter spring would bind easier whereas the longer spring actually allows for a bi-directional bezel.

My next project over the holidays, is documenting caseback removal and installing a sapphire exhibition caseback. I'll post on my web page with its complete...

Ooops, sorry!

I meant to post Jocke's tutorial.

Anyway, Sheldonsmith posted it (thx, Sheldon ). It's the one that has "vikbobil" in the url.
