AD called....

They got a 372 and a 422 for me to look at. I went, I looked, I left empty handed. I surely can see the appeal of the 372. I had no issue with it, frankly, but simply cannot afford to spend that much money right now.

Anyway, I am sure it will sell pretty quickly. I DID order a bracelet for the 392 but I'll have to manage somehow with only 3 PAM's. Can't have everything.

At least you had fun checking them out. I'd like to see a 372 myself.

You have some pretty stunning pieces to adorn your wrist as it is, and both the 372 or 422 will be waiting for you when you are ready to buy.

No worse feeling than needing 10k for an emergency and having a complete luxury item instead. I've had that happen before and ended up losing my arse selling to get the money I needed.

Of the watches? The look of the 372 to be sure, but I would need to get over my reluctance to have a plexi. Since it wouldn't be a daily wearer and I am very careful, I probably would have gone with the 372. Could go either way, even a 423. I like the power reserve.

The 372 is a winner. And... prices are coming down. Plexi gives it a great glow.
I think I could perhaps tolerate the 423's power reserve if it didn't say "power reserve" as if we dont know what the damn thing is.

I would not let the plexi worry you, mine is beautiful and I think you will find that most owners of 372s are more than happy with their plexi.
The only ones who seem to 'slam' the plexi, are those that do not own the 372.
Get your 422 or 372 when you are ready, it will be nice to strap it on without any worry of having spent 8k on a luxury item.
Cheers!

I don't think there is any problem with the Plexi as well. This is one of my favorites in the Panerai line.
