Yes, I know it! I think it's because so many Taiwanese like the brand.
I spot Pams all the time when I go out to eat or shopping. I am not sure I would see so many if I still lived in LA.

No, this is a new one at Breeze Center, right next to the Piaget boutique.
Good question. One thing Taiwanese love is a good watch, and they are not afraid to spend the money on a good one. I really don't see too many fake watches here, not like I see in Thailand or the Philippines etc. Lots of diamond encrusted Cartier watches on the ladies and a two tone Rolex is pretty standard here for most men and women as well. I do see the occasional Brequet diamond watch as well on the ladies. The AD in 101 told me that the Chinese Tourists that roll in everyday on the tour buses buy most of their watches and they buy several at a time.

There are three all within 50 miles of each other near me. Miami - Boca Raton - Palm Beach.

Panerai.com lists 5 ADs in my city and one boutique. This should be the 2nd boutique now.

That's great. There's none in Chicago. Just a couple ADs.

And unfortunately the Chicago ADs I have visited have been somewhat clueless. Maybe it was the folks I met with but even the store manager of one AD handed me a watch upside down to put on my wrist.
May have just been my experience but I have had much better service in NYC or the Miami area. |

Today I spotted 2 Pams and one fake Chanel. The Chanel was on the cleaning guy working in the supermarket. I see more fake Chanels than anything.
The tailor that was picking up clothes at Balenciaga had a nice base Pam on. A woman on the escalator had a nice baby blue strap on her Pam.

Nice one...I keep popping into the PAM boutiques in my travels in the hopes of stumbling across a 210 or a 390...
And Omega boutiques to grab a LM LE Planet Ocean...
