Has my 1675 been relumed??
Any thoughts guys?? Sold it and the buyer says it's been relumed, I thought it looked fine but I could be wrong.

1.6 million serial? Looks like dial is not re-lumed to me and should glow bright when charged near a light. Is it a lime green color outside?

I have had lots of these early ones and they look like what you have and they were a bit puffy , lime green and glowed for a bit. Do the hands have the same glow? If so they are most likely the original ones to the watch. 5512-5513 of this era are similar. I actually prefer these dials as they still glow bright.

Yes, the hands glowed faintly. I owned a 5513 Matte 1.4mil and the hands and lume glowed too

It doesn't appear redone, but if so it was amazingly done!
My 1.3 Gilt GMT still glows very faintly for a short time when exposed to bright light. |

I'm puffy and those puffy lume plots look sweet to me!

most will glow after exposed to light for some time but not brightly and not white but green. As Greekbum says :-) M

I remember seeing your watch for sale, a very nice example.
Maybe the new owner is having buyer's remourse. That would be his loss. Hope all is worked out. |
