Wanted: The Impossible
My kid [pride & joy] needs a daily beater. He's doing well in college and paying for it himself [thank God!].
Bought him a Tissot PRS 516 auto that he loves but my heart skipped when he told me he wore it in the ocean. So the requirements: -diver [screw down crown] -bracelet, he'll only wear an ss bracelet -like to have box, papers, and LNIB condition -Swiss auto -[here's the impossible part] I only want to spend a couple hundred bucks. I know It's unrealistic but anybody have a preloved watch they are looking to sell? Thanks for reading, dP

A year or so ago, I took a chance and ordered that watch off ebay from a guy in Singapore. Got it for $69. I wear it when washing the car.

Great suggestions guys! And special thanks to Bo for his kind offer.
Think I'm gonna let my son select a watch from a few in my modest collection [no Rolex of course]. I have more than I need and he'll be getting something from the ol' man too. Thanks again everybody, dP

Dan, take a hard look at an Invicta 9937 Pro Diver. Bulletproof Swiss ETA 2824 movement, sapphire crystal, solid SS construction, excellent finishing. Lists for around $800 but available for around $300 on eBay, etc. Mine's been through hell and back and the bracelet is a cosmetic disaster now, but it still keeps ticking along and still keeps time. And your son will probably get a kick out of the clear caseback.
