New WG YachtMaster 2

Long story short, sold condo, bought new condo, new condo only gave me 2 parking spaces, wanted 30k, yea 30k for 3rd parking space, picked the 2 car's I wanted to stay, which meant bye-bye to 07 Z06 Vette ( I really didn't drive it much anyway )
So, took the money, off to AD, and ordered the WG Yachtmaster 2.

Should be here by Wednesday...will post pic's

Here's a pic:

The WG YM II is much better-looking than the YG one, IMHO.

Congrats!

steve
btw i do actually like the YMII the worse element for me is the horseshoe countdown on the dial , looks off IMHO and cant see the reasoning when its duplicated on the bezal, am i missing something , happy to be educated if it has an additional use in conjunction with the bezal

As stated, the YM II in WG is much more attractive IMO.

Weighs in at a staggering 262 grams, btw. (including hangtags, though, measured by Jocke).

Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.... The real question..... if the Z06 is gone, what 2 did you keep? I had an 03 Vette, and lust over the new Z, althought the g/f likes the Viper.... Decisions, Decisions!

By the way, I like the YM2, cant wait to see it in person!

No need to shut this thread.

Bo's comments were light hearted. The YM II is such a challenging design there was bound to be a bit of gentle rib tickling.

Bob, no offense meant!

I wrote more than once that I actually LIKE the YM II in WG!

If I had that kind of money, I'd buy it.

Heck, I will even smoke a pipe and enjoy a Martini to celebrate it when you get the YM II !

Nonetheless I am sure that the comments were not meant with any malice aforethough.

As you are aware opinions are divided over the YMII. This may end up making the watch a real collectors item in the future.

If someone was to purchase a leopard Daytona we would expect a generally polite and cordial response but a little gentle humour would also be expected.

Nothing abusive, though. That's what the BAN button is for.
