Male Sikhs (an Indian religious/cultural group-often from the Punjab region) will traditionally wear a steel bracelet on their right wrist. It is called a "Kara" and is intended to remind the observant to remember the Guru before undertaking any action.

A 'gold presidential' is also called a 'Day-Date'. The 'president' is used by Rolex as a reference to the 'president bracelet'.

P.S. I'll take the Lamb Korma

And I'll start with the Chicken Tikkas....followed by the Lamb Kebabs, some good Kingfisher beer and then the main dish - Rogan Josh.

We have a fantastic Indian Restaurant, in fact, we have quite a few....but the best one I've eaten at is called New Delhi.

But be CAREFUL with asking for "HOT food"!

"Hot" Indian food does NOT only mean that it just left the hot oven!

JJ,
That looks like great food, better than the fast food junk I ate today. Work was non-stop so an aide went to Wendys for chicken and Coke. Please tell me you don't have Wendys in Auckland?

Indian food is the best, there is nothing more satisfying than a good Chicken Tikka and washed down with a nice glass of red wine.
What was this post about anyway?

I think I know the bracelet you are talking about, my wife has one, though she is Greek, not Indian. An Indian friend of mine, he has the same one. I'll ask my wife when I get home from work what it is and where she got it.
