What To Do With All The Boxes.....

We talk a bunch about where we put the watch for the night, or show nice storage boxes for many of them...

But what the heck do we do with all those darn boxes that accumulate ???? They take up some serious room....

Sell all of your boxes on ebay and you'll have enough money to buy another watch !!

Don't want ???

Every time I turn around I'm reading how I have to keep the box, tags, plastic, stickies, and every freaking scrap of paper that ever came in contact with a Rolex, or I lose half the value......

I can't possibly let one go....

But with these, a few Omega boxes, and some others, I'm gonna' have to rent a storage unit just for the stuff that comes with them...

Well worth holding on too... you can literally buy another nice watch if you sell each of those on the bay!

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

I like to keep each watch in its box until I wear it for the day then put it right back, close the box. This way, every time I take it out, I feel like I got a new watch! My name is Forrest Gump...people call me Forrest Gump.

How about putting some coal in them and wrapping it up and giving them out as Christmas presents

Your family members will think they have received a Rolex for Christmas and WHAM have some coal

It would be best if they all opened them at the same time.

Your are evil Paul....

Christmas is getting so out of hand that Pam and I have already made reservations on a Cruise Ship to Hawaii for next year....

Somebody wants a gift from us, or to mooch a meal or night in Vegas....They're going to have to catch us mid-ocean...

Because pretty much every watch we have was sourced from outside Canada, I even keep the Fedex/UPS/Whatever waybills in case there's ever an insurance issue.

We spent Christmas in Cuba about 7 years ago, it was different. We left on Dec 20th before the final ramp-up to the 25th, and got back on the 27th after it was all over. Missed Christmas completely, and we decided we wouldn't do it again. However, I'm glad I got to experience Silent Night with bongo drums!

Larry, you had to be there. They also used aerosol spray snow stuff to write in huge letters across the dining room windows "Merry Chritmas".

Something else I hadn't known, it was all about Christmas Eve there. All the celebrations then. Dec 25th wasn't anything special. Kinda different for this Eskimo.
