is it authentic?

Item number: 290192107576

good evening...just started bidding on this ref#1500....it's got a#1560 movement.....The Rolex report indicates it should have a #1565/1575 movement?1)what do you think and 2)i live in los angeles.....who authenticates there.....i was told the ad does not......any input would be appreciated...thanks.

No breach in protocol. This is where you post this kind of question it's just that it's an old watch. Therefor, it might take some time for the TRF member who knows about this type to answer.

The watch is fine as well as the movement. however, you do know that the watch is early 60's or late 50's and is considered vintage right? If your looking for a newer watch I suggest you keep looking elsewhere. Many parts, such as the dial and hands are no longer available from Rolex. Also the RSC in Beverly Hills can OK it for you.
