Looking for Rolex Service in DC

I'm looking for a reliable Rolex-certified technician in Washington, DC or Northern Virginia to do some work on my 1675. So far the name I am hearing most often is Liljenquist & Beckstead at the Tysons Galleria. Does anyone have recent experience with them? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Hi, I live in Manassas and have read some positive testimonials about Herndon Watch and Clock Repair in Herndon,VA. Apparently the watchmaker there has many years under his belt and has a Rolex parts account. I have never used him myself though, I had my Sub last serviced by John Brozek in St.Pete, Florida and they did an awesome job.

There are AD's all over the DC/MD/VA area. I believe he is looking for a watchmaker to service his watch.

X2 for Herndon clock and watch. Very reasonable prices and delivery time. Very knowledgeable about Rolex.

I like Herndon clock and watch. I also have been to L&B, and they usually send their stuff out to the factory, but they do have a watchmaker on staff.

I was in the L/B store in Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax just last night. The staff was very knowledgable and they had an amazing display with nearly every model on display. The sales rep we spoke with, Doug Soper, said same as above post that they do repair work in house but do occasionally ship some repairs out. I walked away very impressed.

I've bought new from L&B and left very satisfied, however, was very unsastified with the service of a GMT a few years back. I tried to service a sub, but there seemed to be "tension", so it went off to RSC.

I've been to Herndon before and the fella seems knowledgable, and I need to drop something off to test how good he is. Seems very nice. Lately things have been off to Rikki or RSC, but I should make an effort to get it to Herndon.

Try Compton Jewelers. I just had my SD serviced there and their watch guy did a terrific job. I was worried about over polishing, but they didn't.

Welcome to the Forum!

Herndon Clock and Watch is great because it is local to you but here is a list of recommended watchmakers:

My watches won't go anywhere else but to Rikki. RSC had my sub and wanted to charge me over 1300..(new dial, hands)+..... Rikki restored everything at more then half that.
